Norbert Weiner era el tipico matematico despistado. En cierta
ocasion su familia se mudo a un pueblo muy cercano a donde vivian antes. Su
esposa, conociendole, decidio mandarle al MIT como todos los dias, y ella
se encargo de la mudanza. Tras repetirle cientos de veces (quizas mas) que
se mudaban tal dia, el dia D le dio una hoja de papel con la nueva
direccion, porque estaba absolutamente segura de que iba a olvidar.
Desgraciadamente, uso este papel para resolverle por la otra cara una duda
a un estudiante.
Cuando volvio por la tarde a su casa, por supuesto, se olvido de que
se habian mudado. Su primera reaccion al llegar a su antigua casa y verla
vacia fue la de pensar que le habian robado, y entonces recordo lo de la
mudanza. Como tampoco conseguia recordar a donde se habian mudado y no tenia
el papel, salio a la calle bastante preocupado, y vio una chica que se
acercaba; entonces la dijo :
- Perdone, pero es que yo vivia aqui antes y no consigo recordar…
- No te preocupes, papa, mama me ha mandado a recogerte.
(Hay que decir que era de noche y no se veia bien.)
